Invisible or Visible or Both

 

One day while walking

I came upon a bunch

Of overgrown bushes

 

Determined to continue

I looked around for

A solution to get through

 

An opening did appear

And I found myself

Lost in a labyrinth

 

Or so I thought

Because the paths

Lead this way and that

 

Some passages blocked

Other ways appeared

To lead to no where

 

I persisted and found an out

The way through became clear

Overjoyed, I carried on

 

Once on the other side

I found a mountain high

Climbing it to see

 

The joyney was meant for me

Many ways to and from

But only one, just one

Showed me who I would become

And there is the faith I see

For it gave me love unbound

And to this I am grateful

Thanks those who shared

In this joyney side by side

For sometimes it is lonely

On the paths and we seem lost

Only to be found later

More complete and more at peace

All thanks to the joyney

The Drumming Circle

The sound of the flute in the distance

Illuminating and inviting

To be here and now present

 

Silence

A peaceful calm

Feeling centered

In this present moment

Resting eyes

 

Awoken

By the tapping

Yah-wey-nah-wey

Mig-ye-way-ye-nah-way

Are the sounds I hear

As the drums are played

 

Lost in the sounds

Taken faraway

To distant times

Back to the past

Where bison roamed

Freely

And without borders

Roaming the lands

Grazing and playing

 

And then the music stopped

Gone are those visions

Of times long since past

But a lingering feeling exists

Engulfed in the joys

Brought back with me

Gentle Reminders

 

Tenderly lying in the sand
Looking up and out
Seeing the stars
Light up the night sky
Listening to distant echoes
Of thoughts and pains
Long since past away

Stopping for a moment
To refocus my thoughts

Twinkling sparkles stammer forward
Bringing whispers of joy and laughter
Spirit rising from the depths
No longer confined and not seeing light
Love sprinkled onto my heart
And awakened my mind to see beyond
For there is just foreverness to share
The loving presence found within

Shadows Deep

 

Years had passed

Since I saw you last

Our lives had once

Been full of promise

The dreams we had

Were set in a distant land

 

Separations happened

We moved ourselves apart

Our journeys led astray

Focus and will come along

After moments went ablunder

The time of change has come

Believing in love will last forever

 

And always

 

For today is not the day we die

But the time to realize

We have come a long way

Only to discover much more

Is found in love shared

 

Desire to move forward

No longer bond in shadows

We must seek compassion

The Grace will show the way

 

Walking alone does nothing

Heartsmiles deliver much

Cracks within walls lead

To the light of the true path

Unwanted

Unwanted
Days came on
Suddenly
Without warning

The masks were taken
By each of us to wear
We dare not show
Our true selves
To those who wish
Nothing but to conform
Set in their ways
Stating others have to follow
No longer learning or creating
Follow their path or else

They have said
To live your dreams
But really saying
Only conforming
Is the true path

But those of us know
Freedom is not found there

Freedom is found
In wisdom, inspiration,
And creating a world
Our children can wonder

Masks hide true intentions
Tear away and find freedom
And share the gratitude
In delightful endeavors

Puddles Deep Within

Puddles

Soon after

The mists had gone

Puddles appeared

Within the forest

 

Saturated ground

Accumulated with tears

Sent to earth

From angels above

 

Unheard cries

Of tortured souls

Ring truths to know

Weary and burdened

Attempts to survive

Only to be forced to hide

 

Scattered

To find shelter

Amongst the forest deep

Where dragons roam

And keep gold aplenty

As their beds resting

Quietly in the forest deep

 

A splash awakens

The dragon

From slumber

No longer

Safe

 

All run and splash

In the puddles

So deep

Deep within the forest

No one can hear

No one can sleep

 

For fear of the unknown

Is forever keeping us

Running in puddles

In the deep forest

whispers…

whispers in the wind…

a change is afoot…

do i have a voice

to say something…

some say yes,

then

say i have to say what they say…

is that really what freedom is all about…

thought it was for me to decide to be heard…

or maybe that door is not opened anymore

…

so many closed doors…

…

focus more on the open ones…

change is in the wind…

the world is full of changes…

every moment is anew
