Friends:

Grateful friends: those we share in peace and inspiration and wonderment together.

Close friends: those who know much about us and share times together loyally.

Okay friends: those who are friends, but keep a distance through judgments or some other means.

Sometimes friends: those on and off friendships.

Acquaintance friends: those who only associate at specific times.

I am grateful for my friends. Thank you

Kindness

Gentle words of love and courage
Sacred spirit shared with all believers
Beyond words of wisdom, a notion
To carry on expressing joyful giving
Souls awakened beyond this earthly realm
Accomplishing peace everlasting. ..so it is

Floating

Water not too deep
Laying down
Just resting
Only sounds
Of water gurgling
Closing eyes
Mind calmly
Focuses upon
My breathing
In and out
Slowly in
Hold
Breathing out
Feet tingle
Legs at rest
Arms and chest
Peaceful
Solitude
Healing vibes
Waves wake me
Momentary gasps
Regain focus
Stretch out
Each toe
And finger
Hand and foot
Twist and turn
Dive into the water
Glide up refreshed
Reinvigorated
For what is to come
Hope remains alive

The Crayon

The Crayon

One day, I
Picked up the crayon
Interested in drawing
But not sure as of what

The crayon said,
‘Let us just see
What will be inspired
To be coloured’

The outcome is yet
Still out there
To be designed
And achieved

I hold the crayon
And dream up
What is to be drawn
Making the most
Of what is happening
And look forward
To tomorrow’s drawings
Whatever they may be
Allowing the inspiration
To guide me
And permit me
To be the best me
I can be

All It Takes Is One Raindrop

One Raindrop

A calm breeze began
Picking up speed
Humidity rising
Sweat beginning to form
Feeling warm chills
All up and down
Thoughts of preparing
Momentary lapse
Prioritize this and that
Feeling awkward
As no sign happening is occurring
No clear path
And yet prepare for the worse
And then one raindrop falls
Making haste, second guessing
Thunder in the distance
Another drop forming a puddle
Drips creating ripples
Moments of time
Stand still
If only for a minute
Mesmerized
Thinking the storm has passed
Lightning strikes the tree
Bursting it, shattering it
Fire burning
Engulfing nearby objects
Fear creeps in
Must move on now
Terrified of whats more to come
Grab bags and jump into the car

Poetry, Important?

Why Poetry is Important…

Poetry brings to life…emotions and daily living…thoughts and moments in time…words become more than life itself…when poets express life

Inspire a Life, Instead

Sometimes I just want to shout
But all that comes out is a whisper
So many people are important
And yet others bring them down
Does one feel stronger or more powerful
Bringing others down, or is it something else
They feel so small and want others to join in
Whichever the case, why not inspire
Allow others to shine and not bind
Keep hope alive and align with love
Never leave others behind
Or dig their graves
Bringing loving light through grace
Allows us all to elevate our world
To find new beginnings
And complete a quilted path or two
For no one alive has done
This life alone…thanks to all who care
And share in becoming a team
Gratitude and blessings
Upon each joyney through life
