Doors welcomed us
After our long journey
Across the lands
Seeking Lightbringers
No one seemed interested
In helping lonely travelers
Until we reached these doors
Open arms held freely
For all who needed comfort
Here we were searching
Long and hard …and now
Belonging somewhere at last
Feeling needed and wanted
No longer abused or used
Finally secure within these walls
Grateful and delighted
