Twinkling Stars
By Pauline Harris
*
Walking outside
Into the moonlit night
Softly gazing to and fro
Seeing sparkles catching
My vision of the vastness
Surrounding me way up high
I look to see Orion over there
And a Dipper that way
My eyes squeeze and squint
Adjusting envision beyond
Beyond the normal scope
Movement is there
Ever so slightly
A blink of the eye
And now to create
Upon my canvas
A glimpse of what
I saw and care to share
With the world
If only the world
Cares to see beyond
