The Choice in the Joyney

If given directions or a recipe, do you follow it exactly as written every time or is it a guide to help you find your own way?

For me, I look at many recipes and sets of directions as guides. I make changes to suit the needs of those who gave the directions/recipe and for myself as well. But it is different for each situation. As some situations, the direct following of the directions/recipe is vital for the outcome.

I see this as freedom to pursue happiness. We all have to find our own way and purpose in life. Every which way we choose, there are mountains and valleys. Each a lesson. A step. A dance. No two paths are the same. Many of our friends and family are with us just a short while. Each with their own set of blessings to share in our joyney with us.~pharris2013
