When Angels Sing

Silently the hush
Upon the world
Did take part
In cleansing ears
Making room for
Those voices
So peacefully clear
All who desired
Were able to hear
The songs sung
By the angels
Basking in joy
Spreading light
To one and all
Listen closely
Love is spreading here

Ripples

One tear led to a roar
Climbing over pebbles
Which slowly changed
To rivers, valley, and mountains
Distant shouts muffled
Into mere whispers
Nothing gained in silence
Momentary joy forged
Reality sets in of truths
Only seconds beyond repair
For the outcome caused
Total dispare sending
Ripples everywhere

Leaves of Motion

Each time daylight brings an interlude
Swaying in all sorts of directions
At first guided by changing winds
However always falling as nature intended
Recycling life patterns amongst dying leaves
Making way for progression taking flight
Distant memories don’t recall forewarned futures/past
Momentary glimpses puzzling all perspective onlookers
Tears from heaven whisper last rites
Carefully treading to spread respectful intrigue
Stating ‘this, too, will pass’

Mystic Messenger

In my slumber
My mind wanders
Dreaming
Taking me a journey deep
A messenger flies towards me
Startled with the news
I proceed to the new
Appearing door
In front of me here
Knocking four times
Eyeing the lunar shadows
Inviting me deeper
Up the hill
No longer
Captive
Freedom
Encompasses
The very thoughts
Enriching my soul
Firing me up
For the journey
Ahead
Waking
With joy
My bird of flight
Still guiding with light
At peace

The Window

Sitting here, gazing
Looking at all the streaks
Raindrops have fallen
Patterns developed
Sadness overcame me
Tears run away with my soul
Thoughts of comfort beseech me
As I realized some just told
Stories they had heard
Traditions without love
For the love was just show
Show and tell, barely caring
Saying to believe, but
What of knowing the truth
Be of service, but always respectful
Yes opinions do matter in time
Tearful goodbyes. ..true caring
Lost without a face
The reflection in the window
Is an illusion
Truth be told
Maybe the dash is all
All that life is
The only impact we make
Is during the time
In the dash
Reflected back in memories
And distant recordings
Tears and windows
Shed light on our reflection

The Cottage In the Village

Just over the fence
To walk through the woods
Up the giant hill
To the village for the market
Someone hollered
I, in a rush, could not
Would not turn around
The market is only open
For such a short time today
No time to waste
On my way, on my way
Dinner will be served
Much later today
Biscuits and pumpkin corn chowder
Yum, yum
Fragrant roses on the vine
Catch my nose then my eyes
Such beauty both in aroma and grace
Must move onto the market
Need some oat flour
And fresher churned butter
Milk and honey
Chirps coming from the budgies
Fluttering their wings
Whistles and howls from the guys
Getting back on track
Whispering wind is picking up
A chill buries into my bones
A teardrop from the sky
More heading down this way
Bus shelter nearby huddled me close
Resting and keeping dry
Thoughts of the day
Run through my head
Sitting down, I reflect
The joys found in moments
Just like this make life worthwhile
Grateful for these days
In so many ways

Phoenix Sol Goddess

Within the flames of renewable life
Comes the calling angels of light
Hearing the whispers beconing hither come
Silently approaching from the corners
Reaching the destination here at hand
Seeking songs of love and light
Gracefully knowing joy unbounded
Within the gratitude of the soul
Freely fluttering humbly the desire
To just be fully in the moment
