Passing Angel Tears

In days of old
I felt a connection
To this one
Who stood
Before millions
Speaking
Of times
Long since past
Of a teacher
Who knew
All were one
I knew these words
As they resonated
Deep within
But then others came
And tried to change
How I felt
Stating only these
And not those
Somehow I knew
The truth was free
And here it was
In the only place
Of all over, everywhere
For tears flowed
From the sky
From all the beings
From the land
Flowing in the rivers
Flowing in the ponds
Flowing in the sea
For all are created
To inspire and create
To allow the flow
From one tear drop
To an ever-flowing stream
The loss of one who taught
So many to see and know
The joy is in the living each moment
As one breath leads to another
Ripples downstream
Into every awoken being
Angels here
Angels above
Angels all around
Guide us as we live
And survive to connect

Angelic Kisses

Angelic Kisses
By Pauline Harris

Out of nowhere
Did this warmth
Appear
To comfort me

Reaching deep
Within
And grabbing
At my heart

Taking away
All my fears
A deep breath
I did take

Feeling better
With this warm
And in depth
Embrace

Calming
Comforting
A newfound
Sense of joy

To love, I return
And to the joyney
Called life

When Angels Sing

Silently the hush
Upon the world
Did take part
In cleansing ears
Making room for
Those voices
So peacefully clear
All who desired
Were able to hear
The songs sung
By the angels
Basking in joy
Spreading light
To one and all
Listen closely
Love is spreading here

Ripples

One tear led to a roar
Climbing over pebbles
Which slowly changed
To rivers, valley, and mountains
Distant shouts muffled
Into mere whispers
Nothing gained in silence
Momentary joy forged
Reality sets in of truths
Only seconds beyond repair
For the outcome caused
Total dispare sending
Ripples everywhere

Leaves of Motion

Each time daylight brings an interlude
Swaying in all sorts of directions
At first guided by changing winds
However always falling as nature intended
Recycling life patterns amongst dying leaves
Making way for progression taking flight
Distant memories don’t recall forewarned futures/past
Momentary glimpses puzzling all perspective onlookers
Tears from heaven whisper last rites
Carefully treading to spread respectful intrigue
Stating ‘this, too, will pass’

Mystic Messenger

In my slumber
My mind wanders
Dreaming
Taking me a journey deep
A messenger flies towards me
Startled with the news
I proceed to the new
Appearing door
In front of me here
Knocking four times
Eyeing the lunar shadows
Inviting me deeper
Up the hill
No longer
Captive
Freedom
Encompasses
The very thoughts
Enriching my soul
Firing me up
For the journey
Ahead
Waking
With joy
My bird of flight
Still guiding with light
At peace

The Window

Sitting here, gazing
Looking at all the streaks
Raindrops have fallen
Patterns developed
Sadness overcame me
Tears run away with my soul
Thoughts of comfort beseech me
As I realized some just told
Stories they had heard
Traditions without love
For the love was just show
Show and tell, barely caring
Saying to believe, but
What of knowing the truth
Be of service, but always respectful
Yes opinions do matter in time
Tearful goodbyes. ..true caring
Lost without a face
The reflection in the window
Is an illusion
Truth be told
Maybe the dash is all
All that life is
The only impact we make
Is during the time
In the dash
Reflected back in memories
And distant recordings
Tears and windows
Shed light on our reflection
