Inviting Hand From Death …

<This poem was written in reference to a photo depicting ‘Death reaching out to a person who was sitting under a tree in a forest area’>

Sitting alone under the great tree
Pondering about life and it’s treated of me
Searching for answers that are not to be
Daydreaming of days past by
Longing for something to clench at
Idealizing my future plans with dreams
Of granduer. Only to be returned to
A lowly feeling with a vision appearing out of no where
Dark shadows tempting and alluring me
Invitingly presents a hand stretched out
Giving me a chance at something different
Here is a gift of the everlasting life, free to take
No more anger or pain, hardships disappeared

Only joy and love remain
Grasp this hand and be set free
