Raining Romance

Spring had sprung
Into lives
Bringing fragrance
And hints
Of romance
Midday with
The sun shining
A few clouds appeared
Sparkling showers
To bring out the mood
And there he stood
The very image of a man
The one from all my wet dreams
Joy hit me deep
My breath escaped me
Lost in my fantasy
Questioning my sanity
I mustered the courage
To go to him to ask
Is this all real, you and me
Together forever
But that is the thunder clasped
Waking me once again
To the real life at hand
No man of my dreams here
Maybe he is out there
Wanting a life with me, too
